OUR HISTORY
Yeguada El Eucalipto
was founded in 1985 by Francisco Javier Iglesias Díaz de Collantes who, starting with six mares, slowly built what today is considered one of the best purebreeders (PRE) in Spain.
We built our lineage with mares from Yeguada Lovera
and studs from Hierro del
Bocado, Pallarés, Granda and Marín García, obtaining as a result magnificent layers of PRE foals that won first place awards at many dressage and morphological contests.
Today, we have a large number of qualified mares
and two studs of exceptional beauty and quality: Quizas HBM, quallified recommended breeding stud
and Amaranto DOS, son of elite breeding
stud Impaciente II, whose first decendents will be born in 2020.
Our Yeguada has had several champions in sections of different contests among which we have Héroe VI and his son Nazareno Eucalipto, champion of Spain
at SICAB 2010.
OUR FACILITIES
The Yeguada is headquartered at Finca El Eucalipto, with more than 700 acres of rolling hills and open fields, where horses, mares and foals live immersed in mountainous nature and enjoy the best atmospheric conditions of Sierra Morena.
Our facilities are ideal to raise PRE horses, including:
- 30 boxes for stallions
- Walker
- 12 boxes for mares and foals
- Whareouse for mares and young foals
- Fodder Silos
- 2 dressage tracks (indoor and outdoor)
- 10 fields specially cultivated for fresh food
The Finca El Eucalipto is an enviable environment, surrounded by holm oaks and olive trees, where horses grow healthy, move freely and thus become perfect PRE.
